Breakfast catering in Sydney that people actually look forward to. Turkish pastries, cheeses, dips and proper coffee for offices and events, from 10 guests.
Most office breakfast catering in Sydney arrives looking the same: a tray of mini croissants, a bowl of fruit salad and an urn of coffee nobody finishes. It fills a gap, but nobody remembers it. Good breakfast catering does more. It gets people into the room early, gives them something to talk about and makes the meeting feel like an occasion.
At Cappadocia Cafe we cater breakfast for offices, training days, launches and early events across Sydney, drawing on the most sociable breakfast in the world: the Turkish spread.
Why a Turkish Breakfast Spread Works for Groups
A Turkish breakfast, kahvaltı, was designed to be shared. Instead of one plate per person it is a table of small dishes that everyone picks from: pastries, cheeses, olives, dips, bread, honey and tea. That makes it a natural fit for catering. It looks generous, suits different appetites and diets on the same table, and holds up well over a long morning in a way hot plated food does not.
What Goes on a Breakfast Platter
Every order is built around your event, but a breakfast spread usually draws on these:
- Pastries: spinach and cheese pastry, meat pastry and börek, baked the same morning.
- Bread: a fresh bread basket and Turkish pide, for tearing and sharing.
- Cheese and antipasto board: white cheese, olives and marinated vegetables.
- Dips: hummus, baba ganoush and tzatziki with bread and crudités.
- Something sweet: baklava, semolina cake and Turkish delight.
- Drinks: Turkish tea, Turkish coffee, fresh juice and soft drinks.
Why Breakfast Catering Beats a Catered Lunch
Lunch catering competes with everyone's plans, from the gym to a sandwich at their desk. Breakfast has the room to itself. It is the easiest way to get a team in on time for an early start, it sets the tone for a long day of training or planning, and it costs less per head than a hot lunch. It also leaves a better impression: a table of warm pastries, cheeses and Turkish tea at 8am feels like hospitality, not logistics.
Delivered Across Sydney
We are based on Stanley Street in Darlinghurst, a short trip from the CBD, Surry Hills, Pyrmont, North Sydney and the eastern suburbs, and we cater events across Sydney. Tell us where you are and what time people arrive, and we will plan the setup so the food is laid out before the first guest walks in.
Pricing and Minimums
Our catering is priced from $25 to $40 per person, depending on the dishes you choose, with a minimum of 10 guests. Setup and service are included, so the food arrives laid out and ready rather than in a stack of foil trays. We cater everything from a ten-person team breakfast to events with hundreds of guests.
Dietary Requirements, Handled
A mixed office is rarely a single diet. Turkish and Mediterranean food makes this easier than most cuisines because so much of it is vegetarian by nature: dips, pastries, cheeses, olives and salads. We cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests, and label every dish so nobody has to ask.
Breakfast Catering Ideas by Occasion
- Team breakfast or all-hands: a pastry and cheese spread with tea and coffee, easy to eat standing up.
- Training day: breakfast on arrival, with baklava and fruit held back for morning tea.
- Client meeting: a smaller, more polished platter with dips, cheeses and Turkish coffee.
- Launch or early event: a full grazing table that doubles as a centrepiece.
