Our Coffee at Home

The same beans we brew on Stanley Street, shipped across Australia

From Our Counter to Your Kitchen

The Coffee Behind the Cup

People ask us at the counter what we use, almost every day. The answer is Cappa Coffee, our own online store. The Turkish coffee in your cup, the Greek roast, the ceremonial matcha in our lattes: all of it is the same stock, roasted for us and sold by the bag.

Order it online and it ships anywhere in Australia. If you are local, you already know what it tastes like before you buy.

How We Make It

Brewing Turkish Coffee at Home

Three things separate a good Turkish coffee from a burnt one. None of them need equipment you do not already have, beyond a cezve.

1

One heaped teaspoon per cup

Measure the cold water with the cup you will drink from, then add the coffee. Sugar, if you want it, goes in now and not later.

2

Low heat, no stirring

Stir once to combine, then leave it alone. Turkish coffee is made slowly. Rushing it costs you the foam.

3

Pull it off at the first rise

When the foam climbs the neck of the cezve, take it off the heat. Pour the foam out first, share it between the cups, then top up.

Shipping and orders

Orders are placed and fulfilled on cappacoffee.com.au, not here. Shipping, returns and stock are handled by the store, and current rates are shown at checkout.

Whole beans or ground

Turkish and Greek coffee both need a powder-fine grind, finer than espresso. Pick the ground option unless your grinder goes that fine. The sampler pack lets you choose per brewer.
